Problem

The service vertical of the SaaS needed appointment booking end to end, across the Odoo backend, the Medusa commerce layer, and the Next.js storefront.

Approach

• 01Built an azpointments Odoo module: appointment, category, and type models, plus a cron job that auto-expires stale pending bookings
• 02Rebuilt the Odoo dashboard and calendar in OWL/JS, a home dashboard showing the day's appointments at a glance, and a calendar view that handles overflow on busy days
• 03Added Medusa API routes for booking, payment initiation, and confirmation, with a webhook subscriber that keeps payment state in sync with Odoo
• 04Built the Next.js booking flow: booking form, availability/timezone handling, and confirmation page
